These electric toothbrushes are perfect for my needs but I think the description needs to be changed so that others can decide if they are suitable for them. Not sure why it says they are mini sized, they are about the size of a standard toothbrush. As far as using it for travel, of course you can take it anywhere, but I wouldn't buy it specifically for travel. Each comes in a plastic cylinder that you can reuse on the go. What makes these toothbrushes great for me is that they have the softest bristles I have ever seen. I have bad gum recessions so my dentist recommended a very soft electric toothbrush to massage my gums and prevent further damage from rough brushing. Compared to expensive electric toothbrushes with interchangeable heads, these brushes have the same fast and powerful buzz that cleans and massages well. You can't change the speed but the speed is perfect, I would compare it to medium or sensitive speed on an expensive brush. It's only use for a few months, when it dies it's done. I prefer that, I hated my old expensive electric brush because it was one more thing to remember when loading and ordering spares (heads). I'm busy enough Compared to the cheaper electric toothbrushes I buy from the store which don't have replacement heads and which you throw away when you're done, these are much better and cheaper or comparable in price. The vibration is more like expensive brushes, it is not harsh and vibrates faster and more gently than cheap ones. The battery in them is not replaceable like cheap ones, but I have never changed batteries in them. I always figured if it dies it's time for a new brush anyway. If you need a super soft electric toothbrush for sensitive or recessive gums, this is the best I've found so far. I am very glad that I found them by accident. I will order more if needed.
