Review on πŸ“€ FIDECO Converter Adapter for 5.25" DVD-ROM by Aaron Hawk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as advertised, reliable docking station.

I have a lot of these types ranging in price from cheap $10 CD readers to $80 dock style charging stations. What attracted me to this device is its small size and solid appearance. Pros: - One-touch cloning works and requires no USB cable, just power. - You can use this device for both disc reading and cloning. - Its small size, durable construction and easy operation. - It works with solid state and hard drives. - High file transfer speed when reading connected drives on the computer. - So far it has worked as advertised. , only from an IDE drive. (Although sata can go the other way, it is also mentioned in the description, but it's still a minus) - unformatted drives are not automatically formatted when cloning. - You cannot clone a larger drive to a smaller drive even if the smaller drive has enough space for what is actually used on the larger drive. Most of the negative reviews I've seen seem to be from people not reading the instructions. This dock clearly does everything that is advertised.
