Update 4/30: I removed the 8-pin CPU power cable and haven't had any crashes since. I made sure to use a 4+4 pin cable so the problem wasn't on my end. The GPU and MOBO cable works perfectly and looks better than the original. Overall still disappointed that my CPU was shutting down at random times due to a faulty 8 pin connector. I'd like to think this isn't a common problem, but I can't make my processor lose performance this way, so I'm keeping my stock PS cable for now. The cables seem solid and well built so I was very happy with these. However, after installing them, I experienced random PC freezes. I didn't initially suspect that these cables were causing the problem, but I've eliminated almost all other causes and can't think of anything else. I can see my case fans turning black and restarting with default colors, leading me to believe the 24-pin cable is causing the power loss. I even bought a UPS to make sure the outlet wasn't the problem and the freezes continued. Tomorrow I will be removing these cables from my system and if the errors persist I will definitely edit this review.
