I bought these for my elderly cat who has kidney disease. I bought chicken flavored and there are 12 small bags and the food is a bag of food, pie with sauce. The packaging is easy to open, the shelf life is more than a year, which is good. My cat loved it and ate everything. One thing to note is their size. They currently cost (and I paid) about $0.94 per pack, but little did I know the packs only weighed 1.75 ounces. So that's something to watch out for, along with counting calories. Be sure to ask your vet how much to feed.
