Tried my Cosori 11-in-1 Smart Air Fryer Toaster for the first time today and did a test run with toast following the manufacturer's cleaning instructions . The first. After 5 minutes cooking time it smoked a bit. I tried to cook the chicken again and the house got so smokey the fire alarm went off and all the doors had to be opened to let the smoke out. Water or something else spilled all over the counter below which is unacceptable. When the chicken was done, the heating element turned off, but the oven didn't turn off. The light is on all the time and there is no way to turn it off. The power button did nothing. I hope to get an answer from Kosori before my return. 21/1 After corresponding with Kosori I will update my review. They were very prompt and helpful with any issues I had and offered refunds immediately. After investigating the issues, I determined that the fat (not water) that had seeped over my counter was related to the chicken cooking on the baking sheet that came with the oven. It's not enough to absorb all the fat from a roast whole chicken that has splattered all over the oven and also leaked significantly. The splashes of fat made the stove smoke. I've also found that the oven needs to cool down before it shuts off. Both issues should be in the manual, but they aren't. After we identified the issue, I had no trouble roasting veggies and using the air fryer. Let's hope it stays that way but I've changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars mainly due to the outstanding customer service which is unheard of these days. I also had the option to return it should these problems reoccur.
