I love the design of the Ipow tripod adapter for iPad. The adjustment options, the holders that hold the iPad, the lock on the back, the fact that I don't have to take the case off to use it are all very good features. The fact that additional pads ensure a secure and non-slip fit also shows the attention to detail. However, the tripod adapter must ensure that the camera, in this case the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, remains stable and securely attached to the ball head during use. does not prevent or reduce camera shake - the material is too flexible and not strong enough. The problem is compounded by the base that attaches the connector to the tripod. It's made from the same type of plastic and the nut sits in an exposed plastic grille. . The likelihood of this area tearing either during use or repeated attachment and detachment seems high. I bought this adapter to film and photograph an event on my iPad using a tripod or monopod. I would take such a risk, especially if someone happened to stumble upon the installation. If they ever made it out of metal, I would buy it in a heartbeat and happily pay more for it.
