If you read the ingredients list, you will see that this cream has some pretty good ingredients: Aqua ((Water) Eau), Liquid Paraffin ((Mineral Oil) Huile Minele), Cera Alba (( Beeswax) Cire d'abelle), Propylene Glycol, Vaseline, Isopropyl Myristate, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Cetyl Ester, Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Indicum (Sesame) Sesame Oil, Sorbitol Oleate, Cera Lanolin ( (lanolin wax) Cire de Lanolin), Sunflower Oil, Glyceride, Pregenolone Acetate, Lanolin Alcohol, Sorbitan Trioleate, Tocopherol, Niacinamide, Cholesterol, Cetyl Alcohol. All oils are very good and are derived from plants. Lanolin is fine for most people unless you have a reaction/allergy to lanolin. Cholesterol is good for your skin. Tocopherol (vitamin E) is a one-substance cosmetic rock star ("bugs," not a reality show, to use the rock music analogy). In short, wonderful ingredients. The price is terrible. About $15 for 2 ounces is the cosmetic equivalent of cattle rustling. I strongly encourage anyone using this product to check out CeraVe Moisturizer, which costs about $15 for 16 ounces. and contains the following ingredients: Water (purified), Glycerin, Ceteareth 20, Capric/Caprylic Stearic Triglycerides, Behentrimonium Methyl Sulfate/Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6 11, Ceramide 1, Hyaluronic Acid, Cholesterol, Petrolatum, Dimethicone, Potassium Phosphate, Potassium Diphosphate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Phytosphingosine, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum. For those who are allergic to parabens, you can try Aquaphor. Or, if you prefer "a natural ingredient," you can apply grapeseed oil to your face right after you shower. Google Cosmetic Cop and look up the ingredient list. It's really adorable. My mom swears by Revlon Eterna 27 (Decades) and I teach her how to use the ingredients because the price per ounce of this product is obscene. Luckily, companies like Vanicream, CeraVe, and ThinkBaby have started breaking up the "cosmetics cartel" and offering the same or better ingredients at a massively reduced price without any fancy celebrities.
