Review on ๐Ÿšฟ Chrider Handheld Shower Head with Hose: High Pressure, 7 Spray Settings, Adjustable Mount, Chrome Finish by Sally Willyard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good so far! Review updated 1/1/2021 (Spoilers: still very good!)

Ridiculously easy to install. Sits nice and high when it's in its stand so you don't have to crouch down to duck your head under the water. Does a surprisingly good job of concentrating my mediocre water pressure, so much so that the strongest needle spray setting actually stings a little. Far more spray options than any sane person would expect. The durability of the hose remains to be seen, but the hose is encased in a metal tube that bends easily, which is a plus. It easily matches (or exceeds) the experience I have with a $100 shower head in my other bathroom. Appearance: It's totally fine if you don't want guests to think you spent a lot on it because they didn't. But they do get wet, and that's important for most people. Installation Note: The ends of the hose have slightly different connectors. Connect the smooth rounded end to the shower head itself and the square end (hex nut) to the end of the water supply. It says so in the instructions but I missed it and apparently so did some reviewers. If you connect them upside down, the shower head may not stay in the holder. I just hate it when I want to blame a product and then realize I screwed up. The seller responded to some of them by acknowledging quality control issues and efforts to resolve them. Since these reviews seemed to be piling up in a tight window of time I decided to give this thing a try and I have to say that after a week of use it's flawless. Unless you have high quality plumbing that this might conflict with, I would suggest buying one. Update 01/01/2021: 1.5 years later I love this more than ever. I have just ordered another to replace a branded shower head in my other bathroom which is severely drying and leaking after a week of not using. No problem with this inexpensive shower head or plastic hose (rubber?) in a very flexible metal (not hard plastic) outer hose. Great product, great price.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Too long to wait
