My thick shoulder length hair air dries just over an hour after washing. In winter, when the house is warm, it takes a little less time; 50-55 minutes until completely dry. While METLUCK hair dryer towels are soft and comfortable, easy to use, safe and hold my hair well, they cut my hair drying time down to just 10 minutes. I can't comment on towels that cause less hair breakage because they are used instead of a blow dryer as I don't usually use blow dryers. Drying time is about 10 minutes faster - not enough change to get me to use it. Towels for quick drying hair. However, I find METLUCK towels particularly useful when I do NOT want to get my hair wet or when I am heavily conditioning my hair. I have already given my mother a towel and will use the other two. I think towels can reduce drying time for those with short or fine hair. Consider other scenarios that towels can be used for and I find the cost reasonable and worth it.
