Don't buy an early 90's Civic or Del Sol

These bulbs are not much brighter than the stock bulbs on my 1993 Honda Del Sol. They also provide noticeably uneven lighting. My sensors shine brightly right in front of each bulb, but dim noticeably in between. Perhaps these lamps have a small angle of illumination, more like a laser pointer than a spotlight. Another problem of even greater concern is that these lamps will light up when they shouldn't and only get nominally brighter when they should. .If you turn the key in the accessory that illuminates all the lights on the instrument cluster and then start the engine, you may see the lights dim but not turn off. When I put the parking brake on, the light gets a little brighter. When I activate the cruise control, it gets a little lighter. However, these symbols should only illuminate when the parking brake is on, the brake fluid level is low, or cruise control is engaged. The check engine light, which is now always on, has changed from orange to green. The difference in the check engine light illumination, if it actually worked, is so slight that I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't noticed it when I started the engine. Needless to say I need to reinstall my standard bulbs and am very dissatisfied with this product. It is also true that some of these lamps may not light if polarized incorrectly. Before reinstalling the sensor unit, it is necessary to verify the presence of the backlight. If the bulb doesn't light, rotate it 180° in the socket and it should work. Maybe it's the age of my car; but Revane said that this product is suitable. The cost is too low to think of paying shipping for return. I will not order anymore.
