I was very hesitant as this nightgown is made in China, but I have had a hard time finding nightgowns I like. I prefer a feminine look, but a jersey knit (like a tee shirt) and all cotton. Plus I like having a short sleeve for a bit of warm at the shoulder line. This nightgown has it all - really! The fabric is a pleasing print; the fabric is a nice sturdy weight, not flimsy. And it feels like real cotton. The cut and styling are feminine enough. As for the sizing, after reading the reviews, instead of one size up from my regular size of clothing, I bought 2 sizes up. I am a medium and bought an XL. Absolutely NOT necessary! I could have bought my regular size, even though I usually buy sleepwear a size larger for comfort. The XL is way larger than I need, but it's still comfortable so I'm keeping it. It is an excellent nightgown and the quality compares well with the $70 brands.
