My cats love trees and tall heights so I wanted this pickaxe to be taller. It's very high and the two platforms are at or above eye level (depending on me or my husband) so it's great for cats. My boy loves the small apartments here! He is very picky and claustrophobic, so he likes to have windows on all sides. When he throws himself against a tree, it trembles and lifts off the ground slightly, but he is very aggressive in his game. My girl, on the other hand, is a larger Maine Coon. She's too tall for the platforms and not very graceful, so she can't figure out how to navigate this tree's narrower building (our previous tree was wider). She falls off it regularly. So think about the size of your kittens. Otherwise, the variety of platforms and bars is really amazing.
