Review on Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter (Compatible with PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC) by James Nielsen

I currently have a Logitech G27 switch and the build quality of the Thrustmaster TH8A is much better than Logitech. The ability to switch to sequential shifting is a huge plus. The shift gate gives reliable feedback when changing gears and produces a solid mechanical sound when the gear is engaged. That's what Logitech was missing. I liked the extra buttons and hat switch on the G27, but that doesn't matter given the difference in quality and feel. The only downside, if you can call it that, is the price, which is higher than the competition. However, after seeing them side by side and actually using both, I'm more than happy to spend a few bucks more for a derailleur that should last a very long time and give me the option of shifting with an H-shape or sequentially. The second complaint I have is that Revain chose to ship this item by putting a shipping label directly on the box, retail packaging box and on my front door. Anyone can see what it is when they walk past my door and it's a big siren screaming "stand me!" I can understand that they want to reduce the amount of materials used to ship the item be used, but that just requires stealing the package through the ceiling, which will only cost them more to replace than just using the box at all. I understand that a parcel thief will steal no matter what, but openly advertising that something is there might make someone keel over despite knowing what it is, not what it might be. Please use your common sense in this new money saving tactic. Perhaps use the right size boxes and less packaging material, and instead leave the security to discreetly concealing the product from prying eyes.
