We used this product to connect a laptop or tablet to a home theater system as well as a speakerphone. We are very happy with the results. Before purchasing the product, we plugged it directly into the laptop's headphone jack and the results were nowhere near as good, both in terms of volume and playback quality. The price of the product is very reasonable and makes a big difference.
