I wouldn't say it's the perfect solution for everyone but for the price I paid it's a good solution for me! So I have other metal decors throughout the house and I've definitely thought about a black metal set. They were just very expensive for small pieces of metal. Instead, I decided to try these clear acrylic paints. Especially since I put them on the kitchen window anyway. With all the moisture from the sink or splashing water, it just made sense to me. Not to mention that the set is cheaper. I used a small level when I installed them, so they were pretty basic. I would also recommend using a low level. I was able to wrap the cable tight enough that if it ever gets bumped it won't fly out of its mount. The stand doesn't snag the speaker, but the acrylic stabilizing strip seems to be in a good place. I also used some 1/4" masonry coax brackets to hide the extra cable under some of the cabinets. There may be a better solution, but I was happy with this choice for cable management. This is a trial and error process, depending on your placement. I will say that I did not manage to wrap the cord on the stand as shown in the photos. It's not dirty, but definitely not that perfect. - Very easy to assemble - Thick acrylic doesn't flex much with the speaker - Neither flashy nor very attractive. Anyway, overall I love these acrylic mini HomePod stands. I would use them in any room with a source of water/possible moisture accumulation. In my main rooms I would have to use black metal only for the furnishings. If that doesn't bother you and you just want a good stand at a good price, I'd still recommend trying them out! - Inexpensive for a set (2) compared to others - Feels and looks solid - Easy installation with just 2 screws - Clear acrylic fits in most rooms and on top of any HomePod
