My new favorite humidifier

This is my 5th Revain humidifier review and probably the funnest. Not a rating but a situation when using this humidifier. Let's get one thing straight: this humidifier can't run 100 hours on a single tank of water. I used it 7 days/nights in a row and had to refill it every day. It runs for about 24 hours with a full water tank and performs at an average level during those 24 hours. To say I was disappointed with the moisturizers would be an understatement. They're either too difficult to clean, or they don't produce enough mist, or they have some sort of fan that blows the mist over my bed while I sleep. Believe it or not, I liked this one and wanted to try it because the company has accessories for it. I don't like buying replacement parts for anything, but with all my humidifier issues, it's nice to see a company making an effort to fix problem areas in their products. So what's funny about that? I either plug in a new humidifier in the kitchen or bathroom and let it run for a while before trying it in our bedroom. I filled the tank on this one, turned a knob to cool, turned the mist control knob about half way and nothing happened. I just got the Vornado back, which would shod whenever I wanted it or whenever I pressed it. So I pushed this one. There is no fog. I left the room and left it on. I'll be back in 10 minutes and see that someone is having an anti-fog conference in our bathroom. There was a lot of fog. I immediately turned it off and on again to see if it would be one of those frustrating humidifiers that are fickle in their mist. It's not like this. The fog cleared immediately. Then, for fun, I turned the fog all the way on and was surprised at how much fog came out. I gave it a 5 star rating, but it's not without its flaws. I agree with everyone who says there is no warm mist coming out of a humidifier. I've tried 3 times, the device works like it's switching while pausing when you turn the knob from cold to warm, but there's no sensation. It does not bother me. I couldn't imagine using warm fog. I'm one of those people who sleeps with the ceiling fan on all year round, only uses one blanket all year round, so the cool mist is the only feature that interests me, but it should be noted that I don't feel that way me too warm. Mist comes out of this humidifier. There is one more detail worth mentioning. This humidifier is more difficult to fill than others I have reviewed. The tank is inconvenient if you are used to other types of humidifiers. It is easy to fill and the valve that closes it closes very tightly. Perhaps it is due to the orientation of the tank, although this causes some problems. I fill ours in the bathroom. The bathroom is about 20 feet from our bedroom. I drain water, carry the tank to the bathroom and back to the bedroom. I put a towel next to it to solve this problem. I didn't think that this humidifier would be easy to fill and refill, for example for a child or an elderly person. It's probably enough to make you wonder why I'm giving it 5 stars. It works. The spout from which the mist comes out has two spouts. You can direct the mist to the right of the humidifier and to the left. I personally turn both to our bed. This is the first humidifier I've tried that causes mist to spread to both me and my wife. She always complained that I use a humidifier and keep the mist off her. This releases enough fog to reach us both. The cleaning is pretty standard, but they made one part easier. The plunger that drains the water from the tank has a square plastic body instead of a round one. This gives me enough room for my toothbrush to clean rather than trying to figure out a way to clean the smaller round body of most humidifiers. The center tube that receives water for mist generation is also easily accessible and can be cleaned with a dish brush or, if things get tight, stick a washcloth in and sweep back and forth. I use humidifiers to keep the air humid in our house, and I also like feeling the cool mist blowing on my face as I sleep. This one does it better than any I've used. It also has a few features that others might like. It has a light that you can turn on. It's bright enough too. I could imagine it being used as a night light in a child's room or nursery. It also has a red light when it's out of water. Both features are nice and I see customers asking questions. Best of all, at least for my wife, is the quietest humidifier I've ever used. You will hear a faint gurgle, maybe two or three times an hour, for just a few seconds. I also rated the Optimus humidifier 5 stars and still do. I just think it's better here overall. I won't be using most of these extra features, but the only thing that really bothers me is the cleaning and the amount of fog removed. This is the best of the two moisturizers I've reviewed. By the way, I'm now curious about their smaller one, which costs half as much as this one. If these problems, the weight of the filled tank, the inconvenience of carrying the tank, the problem of the lack of warm mist are serious problems for you, you can look at a smaller one from this company or try Honeywell or Optimus I considered. They both work well and have the same strengths as this one, they just don't make as much fog as this one. If you try one of these, give the mist time to work its magic the first time you use it. I was ready to wrap it up and send it back before the fog came out.
