Nice cap in excellent anthracite color (not quite black but not dark grey). But I don't usually wear hats like this (I'm usually a rimless person) - in this case, however, I was looking for EMF protection for my skull and brain. My first test was to wrap my phone. I was wearing a hat and my wife called him (it didn't say it had a Faraday pocket function, totally a "let's try" test) and the call went through. OK. That doesn't mean he's not SHIELD, it means he's not BLOCKING (which I didn't think). So what's a guy supposed to do? Well I wanted to see if EMF is contributing to my migraines and I spend a lot of time in front of a screen at work. So I figured real life would be the best test. I wore the hat every other day for about a week and then had my head checked around 5pm, which is usually aura time when I have a migraine. and it seemed that the days I wore the hat the symptoms of my headaches diminished. Again, this is entirely subjective and there is no guarantee this will work for anyone else, or even a guarantee that I won't use a placebo. So I'll keep evaluating this EMI protection cap as it seems to help and see how it fares. At the moment 4 stars seems to be a reasonable rating. I LIKE IT.
