Review on πŸ“Ί Enhance Your TV Experience with the ViewTV 50 Mile Digital TV Antenna - Indoor Amplified HDTV for UHF/VHF 1080P Channels by Austin Hampton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not bad at all for something so simple.

Wanted to try something just to see how the over-the-air stations are failing in our semi-rural area since Roku and other streaming media don't carry local news. The antenna is a very simple semiconductor board that comes with a couple of stickers to attach, no suction cups. I'm an avid radio operator and could whip up some super duper, but given the cost I figured why not. So far so good, we're getting 12 non-terrestrial digital channels coming through as expected. The full mileage ratio simply means it can pick up a signal at a given distance in the best possible conditions. but I won't go into that. The antenna is very flat, which makes it fairly directional. If you do, pointing them front and back in areas where you know there are more stations might work better. In our case Detroit and Toledo. I hide mine behind a painting and it still works fine. In addition, the supplied amplifier was of no use.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Weak dial
