I ordered these Adidas Originals Stan Smith Adicolor men's sneakers for my adult son for Christmas. He pointed them out a few weeks ago but they were expensive so I added them to my wish list and lo and behold the price dropped to about $43 one day and I bought them. I love it when it happens. Anyway, these sneakers look like the description photo. They have an old-school look and are dark red in color. They are flat and my son says they don't have much arch support but he expected that because that's how they were originally made. He says they're made for fashion, not sport or running, and the low arch only suits him for running. The size is a bit small. My son usually wears 13" or 13.5" sneakers. We have 14 of these and they fit well but could be a little longer for more comfort. They don't hurt my son's feet, but it would be nice to have a little more wiggle room. He finds them half a size smaller. I say if you want room for thicker socks or if you have a wide foot go up a size as they are slightly smaller than many other brands. Besides the size, they are comfortable and durable as well as quite light. Because they are so big and flat, I told my son that they would make him look like Ronald McDonald's feet, but they really aren't. You are handsome and proportionate to his slim 6ft 1in body. Even though they're red, they're not too flashy and go well with casual jeans. perforated around the body of the hard toe shoe. They come with matching laces which can of course be swapped out but my son likes the matching laces. All in all these are good, fun and trendy sneakers. Not for running or sports but suitable as a hiking shoe or maybe for low intensity exercise. My son says 4 stars. He would have liked a little more arch but wasn't expecting it and said he would have liked it if they had just been touching longer to give his toes a little more wiggle room. He stresses that they are neither tight nor uncomfortable and that if he could he wouldn't go up a size. I suggest going up half a size if you don't wear thick socks, and then going up a size from your usual everyday size for other brands. Watch out for price drops! The prices change quite often.
