The first time I used this wonderful French Press, I felt the sun rise after a long, dark winter and let its beautiful light flood through my veins. Oh wait, it was just a caffeine rush. Seriously, this is a great product at a much better price than most. My previous experience was with a French glass press and it's a much more durable product. It retains heat well and the screen is a standard type found in most presses. I like the wide, flat lip on the spout that minimizes overflow when squeezed. The lid has a curved inner edge that can be rotated to minimize heat loss. I like the strength of the metal and I expect this device to brighten my mornings for a long time to come.
