I'm so glad I bought this despite the reviews. My son has a 5 drawer dresser and loves to play with it. He'd clapped his little fingers before, and I intervened before he did it again. I needed something that would prevent him from climbing into the drawers but still be handy when I was in a hurry. It was the perfect answer! They install in seconds and close automatically when you close the drawer (if installed correctly, otherwise you just need to make sure they line up when you close the drawer). No matter how hard he pulls he can't open it and all I have to do is pull the lever back to open the drawer.
