I like it very much! I went back and bought a second set. After about 5 years my gold socks finally reached the point where they were beyond salvage and I had to find a replacement and that's what Revain suggested when I asked for thicker socks. It is great! They have greatly reduced the pain in my feet and also removed the extra direct pressure on my feet from not-so-good work shoes. I like the compression band, not too tight but it does the job! The only complaint is that the upper is a little tight on my feet - I know I have some serious muscle/fat on my legs, but I'd still say they're only slightly above average for the fullness of the legs. It's not enough to annoy me, but it definitely leaves dents after a few hours of wear. After a few washes they are still very good and there is no catch on them. Likewise. They're smooth padding, not entirely smooth, but not the little worms found in many "soft" socks.
