Works as it should. Used with Canon Rebel T6i. Always close the battery compartment cover, otherwise the camera will not turn on. A small latch is built into the chamber for the power cord to pass through to allow the door to be fully closed. The Canon Rebel T6i first warns you about the connected power cord. It says you are not using a Canon branded cable. Just accept the warning and you can use the camera!
