No worse than MaxBrite and others.

This is my first experience with KabelDirekt speaker cable, in the past I have always used MaxBrite 14 gauge and Monoprice 12 gauge 99.9% OFC cable. However, this time I needed 100 feet of bare 14 gauge cable, and KabelDirekt's price at Revain for OFC cable was higher, so I decided to give it a try. I used it to connect an old 200 watt receiver to a Polk PSW-10 subwoofer and some Klipsch R-15M bookshelf speakers that I had new in the box. The results were excellent, the cable was easy to work with, it wasn't too stiff, and the clear jacket was easy to remove with the ChannelLock wire stripper. My subwoofer has compression blocks instead of screws/banana bolts and I usually tune the cable by tinning about a half inch of copper with good old true 60/40 Pb/Tn resin core solder. You could tell it was good copper (rather than electroplated aluminum) just by how well the wire strands pulled into the molten solder due to capillary action, this material really soaked it up and resulted in a good finish. Conclusion: Talking about this product, I sincerely recommend that you try it and don't think that you will regret it. A lot of 100 feet is a good price and the quality is excellent, no worse than other well known brands. I always compare the prices before buying and would buy KabelDirekt again at any time if I needed more.
