I bought this to power a purchased Wi-Fi router that came without a power adapter; I plugged it in and it's doing a great job (you wouldn't see this if it didn't). It's beautifully designed, although connecting at right angles to the tips can make it awkward, difficult, or impossible. to connect to some devices. This is impractical with my router; My choices were to press part of the tab against the base of one of the router's antennas, tuck it firmly between the tabletop and the LAN cable, or stick it up in the back of the router and return to the ground. I chose the second option and it's inelegant, but it doesn't matter; it's just one of those uncomfortable things that I know exist. but this is unlikely to have any practical negative consequences. The router works great, so here it is.
