I originally wrote a 1 star critical review. I recently found that my troubleshooting conclusion was wrong. This volume control was not the cause of my problems. I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Ignore my review below, I was wrong. The above rating is correct. This review was wrong: somehow the Volbox manufacturer puts a defective product on the market. This surprises me as it is a simple volume control design. I believed the intermittent on/off issue I was having was coming from my TV. But after fixing some issues and swapping out cables, I found that the Volbox moved very little or was pushed slightly into a corner to turn it off and on again for a while. Thinking it was a one time issue I ordered another one. It came today. I plugged it in and did a motion test. It went wrong. When he came back I ran a light corner compression test. It went wrong. I have to say they are consistent. I put this product in the junk category and will try another brand.
