Review on TYC 20-5651-00 Toyota 4 Runner Passenger Side Headlight Assembly - High Quality Replacement Part by Jeff Dabney

First the good: The lenses are glass and the construction is relatively cheap. But as others have pointed out, the LAMP SHIELD on the driver's side is wrong - it's off-center. The reviews note that the shield bends. But it's not a problem. The screen appears to be curved as it is actually assembled with a screen intended for use in a passenger side lamp. There is a right shield and a left shield; these two are not the same. If the driver's side lamp is assembled with the passenger's side shield, the shield will not fit properly and will not function as intended. (In short, the purpose of the sign is to hide stray light from blinding oncoming traffic.) Anyway, the driver's side side lamp I got (and sounds the same as the others) is definitely not DOT compliant. I have contacted TYC and will update this review if necessary. UPDATE 12/18/2019: Barbecue. After troubleshooting, which many complain about, and determining the part of the TYC that caused the error, I have not received an answer. I'm assuming they'll just resell them like that. I would not recommend installing them in your car. (The photos are upside down. Sorry, but every time I uploaded them, they were upside down.)
