AMEN, why didn't I check for adapters before?
. Now I've connected my old keyboard to my new desktop! The later economy style keyboard, too small, the keys are offset, drives me crazy. Since this inexpensive adapter lets me revitalize my old keyboard, the color of the worn keys doesn't matter, when I set this old keyboard up and was on it, I WAS AT HOME. The tactile sensations are back and definitely making a difference for me. I type very quickly, rub and, like me, have to write for publication in an official capacity for my work. Throw away that old keyboard as best I can, HP. Suggest you stick with your old product, tool and paint or a different keyboard.
