Update September 23, 2019 I have been contacted by my seller/manufacturer regarding a defective product. I am proud to report that the new Led coil I received this time is of much better quality. I will continue to use Scottsguard VHB or Extreme tape for installation due to the boat ride. One problem is that the LED strip was spliced together every 24 inches using very heavy solder joints. At the moment this doesn't look like a problem, but over time it may become a problem. Complete junk. 1. Not my 1st LED strip, several installed. I always use 3M Scottsguard VHB or Extreme Band. It's not cheap. Cut it in width along the entire length. Install on the boat. The problem was that the LED strip had come loose from the secondary tape. The tape sticks perfectly to the VHB and Extreme tape, but the LED strip doesn't stick well to its own tape. 2. There are multiple connections along the length of the LED strip. A small wire soldered to the LED strip connection broke. This was after I had stretched, crimped, heat shrunk and attached to the boat. A lot of money and time wasted
