Review on 👟 Speedplay X Series Cleats Protection Cover - Keep on Kovers X by Willie Midkiff

I've been using Kool Kovers cleat covers on my X pedals for years, but I got tired of putting them on every time I had to stop so I decided to give them a try. For me the main reasons for using slipcovers are (1. To keep you from slipping when walking on hard smooth surfaces or putting your foot down when stopping and (2. To protect soft floors from dents or carpet stains (your friends and business associates) . owners will appreciate this) and (3. To keep dirt and debris from getting into the stud as you walk, I never had a problem with the aluminum plate wearing out before the rest of the stud wore out, so brace yourself no worries too much they are great for #1 and #2 but you still have to be careful walking in the mud etc. It's about the same frequency as my Kool Kovers They show very little wear so far so I'm happy with them.Overall I'm pretty happy with them as they seem to last a long time, hold up quite well and don't slip when walking on the shrink.One star off for those fact that they can come loose with normal use and you still need to be careful not to fill the cleat hole with dirt and debris as you walk.
