This product is intended for a specific make/model of car, but you can use it on any vehicle. Some car interior colors are not suitable for this product, but my Subaru Forester B Pillar has the exact same color. I had to trim the faux leather-like material to fit my car and I had to make incremental cuts so I couldn't trim it too much, but it fit me absolutely the way I needed it. I have included a picture of the car's plastic trim tools as you will need them to install the material under the door frame rubber seal. This seal is not the only thing holding the material in place, there are a number of adhesive strips located on the back of the material. My only complaint is that there is an area where my B-pillar has a kind of dimple and that some of the material didn't have enough tape to hold it in place. But the glue coverage area was pretty good. I used to use these silica gel seat belt buckle covers, but due to their construction, some of the gel coating continued to be sucked into the buckle when adjusted, making adjusting the height of the buckle much more difficult. This new product is effortless and makes me forget there was ever a day when I could scratch my pillar pad. Installation took about 20 minutes total, the hardest part was lifting the door frame seal and fitting the material underneath at the angle I wanted so it wouldn't get tangled under the seal.
