Well, with these amazing Sony speakers, you can "double boost" the bass and treble between amplifiers or channels and separate them, or turn one or the other off entirely. I added a foam baffle and now this 6.75" speaker replaces the stock 5.25" midrange driver with a noticeable, or at least audible, boost in performance. The only thing to note is that these are deep speakers, making them the best for rear mounting. if your doors do not have a healthy perimeter.
