Perfect! - Baking Pans

This pizza steel is much better than the ceramic pizza stone I used. I used to have two ceramic pizza stones. The first one eventually fell into the oven for some reason, forcing me to replace it. The second one has been fine so far and I was happy with the results until I bought this steel pizza stone! My oven heats up to about 550 degrees. Once the steel pizza stone has reached the right temperature, my pizza cooks perfectly! Very crispy dough and perfectly prepared filling. With a ceramic stone I would have had to let the pizza sit too long to get a crisp crust which would have overcooked the toppings. I also don't have to worry about this thing breaking since it's steel. I had to thoroughly wash and store my old ceramic stone and even worry while it was in my kiln. However, this is a beast! If anyone wanted to say something bad about him, it might actually be how heavy he is. But I don't care because the thing works. I cannot recommend this steel pizza stone more highly. Great buy if you love homemade pizza what you need!
