All car functions wear out quickly and don't work

This is the second pair I have bought. The first two lasted almost a year before they stopped working. Changing the battery didn't help at all. The tiny electronics in the key fobs are simply cheap and of poor quality. However, I figured it was better to buy a pair every year than to go to the dealer for a $60-$70 replacement. because. If the key fob just touches the edge of your bag, it will work. If you put the keys on the table, the alarm can go off. How annoying. What's even more annoying is that when you press the button to unlock the car, it only unlocks the driver's side. You have to click a second time to open other doors, but sometimes you have to click 10-15 more times before other doors open. I have an SUV with a button to unlock the rear window. When the window is unlocked, it opens slightly. Well, that unlock button also opens the rear window permanently. When you get out of the car and put the keys in your pocket, the windows will unlock. So you're driving down the road and a warning appears on the dashboard that the tailgate is open! It's just a window but you have to stop to get out and close it. They are therefore very cheap and of poor quality. But they are also inexpensive. So try your luck by getting at least one decent one out of a pair. Even if you have to buy new every year, you save money compared to buying from a retailer.
