This is a great phone mount. I use it in my Silverado to mount an iPhone 6s Plus. It fits in every ventilation shaft and does not fall down. The sleeve protruding from behind the device has a U-shaped loop that wraps around the horizontal portion of the vent, and gravity pulls the device down the dashboard surface by the two lower legs. The legs are equipped with pads that do not leave marks on the dashboard and provide sufficient protection against scratches, which no doubt would have been received. I'm giving it three stars because the arms are slow to open, which isn't good for someone like me who's always in a hurry to get where I need to go. When you wrap your hands around the phone, it makes an annoying clicking noise and requires unnecessary force to comfortably attach the phone to the mount. Once in place, it stays in place and does its job well. It rotates freely and can be fixed in the desired position. Overall a quality product, just not what I was looking for.
