Great for arcade T-shaping!

I bought this to use with a 1/4" shank and 2-3/8" arbor with bearing, Whiteside #A200B for cutting T-profiles on mine MAME machine! Overall this is a great product and the cut is exactly as expected! One big tip: make sure you put it on correctly, if it's on and spinning backwards your MDF will smoke!

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • No Machine

Works as it should

I'm not an enthusiastic carpenter. A random weekend project will push the boundaries of my abilities. Other than that, this product was fairly easy to use and its quality was more than adequate for my project. It's easy enough to turn the blade upside down and it won't spin in the right direction, resulting in smoke and damage to the racquet. but be careful and you will catch it and fix it in time. A good product.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

Cuts through butter like a hot knife.

I made a silly mistake installing it the wrong way round (I just wasn't thinking) and it cut itself - but there was a lot of smoke. Once I got it right, it was amazing. It just cuts a nice little slot for my T molding (from the 3/4" layer). It deposits quite a bit of sawdust on my right plumb. I don't think it will get boring anytime soon. Better done than all of these cheap bit sets you can buy (which get boring right away). If you want to cut a 1/16" groove in wood, this is it! I got this…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
