Great for Blades

Great for Rikon 10”. The cut is a little stiffer than a finer-toothed factory knife, but cuts very straight with the right tension.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Very expensive

This saw blade failed to mount on the rail

I cannot see the cutting aspects of this saw blade as I have not been able to set it up on a Rikon 10 inch band saw. the 3/8" and 5/16" band saw blades track perfectly. I sawed through some hardwoods and found that the 3/8" 4TPI works well on my saw. No need for a 1/2" blade.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative Present

good blade: band saws

I just put this on a craftsman 21400 band saw just like Rikon 10_305, I watched Alex Snodgrass's video on YouTube, it helped a lot, me can't say it was easy but not that hard, took me about an hour to set it up, it cuts very well, works great, but I also change all the bearings, and honestly if your saw has a few years old, I would advise you to do the same,,,

Pros
  • good item
Cons

Not suitable for band saw Rikon 10-305 10 "

At first glance a good blade. Unfortunately I can't say anything about durability because, contrary to the product description, it is not a Rikon 10- 305. I have included a picture of the blade I removed from the saw, the packaging it came in and the contrast length difference for reference.I don't know maybe I'm just unlucky but others seem the same to have had result.

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
  • Small parts

Sturdy enough to carry a child

A young man wants to learn how to use a band saw. Showed him how. He already knows the safety rules, so he did it. The boy did 5 of these and I heard this saw make noises I had never heard before and I was deaf in my good ear. Passed every test I could give him.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some flaws

I hope this bandsaw will be as good as their bandsaws.

Bought this blade for my Craftsman band saw. It was necessary to saw through the workpiece with a diameter of 3-4 inches. I have been purchasing Olson blades for my spiral saw for many years and have enjoyed the quality of the blades, good cutting performance, clean cut and blade life. Hope the same. Results with a bandsaw I haven't set it up to check balance, cut quality or blade life.

Pros
  • Easy Install

Relatively inexpensive and excellent performance

Replaced the factory blade with this. The difference was like day and night. Sawing was easy, the blade ran perfectly, but I had to tighten the blade tension a bit. I've used it on oak and maple with no problems (just a little slower) and the softwoods are just great. No opinion on durability but after a couple of weeks of fairly heavy use it still cuts like new. This blade was recommended to me by a professional wooden boat builder. I understand why he likes her so much.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgrades

Relatively inexpensive and great performance

Replaced factory blade with this. Difference was like night and day. Blade tension somewhat, have used it on oak and maple with no problems (only runs a bit slower) and softwoods are dead easy. They were recommended to me by a professional wooden boat builder and I can see why he likes them so much.

Pros
  • Fits 10" Rykon 10305 and Sears Craftsman 21400.
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Cuts like a beast!

I have been machining, cutting and turning steel, aluminum and various hardwoods for over 20 years. I've always been a Lenox/Starrett devotee, especially when it comes to band saws. I couldn't be more ignorant. As the title suggests, this thing slices like a beast through just about anything you want to throw at it (except hardened steels, D2 tool steel, etc.) and it outperformed several of my other good quality blades that I know of. trust for years. The only noticeable flaw was the .004"…

Pros
  • These are heavy duty, durable, commercial grade band saw blades for industrial, woodworking, DIY and professional tradesmen.
Cons
  • Some mistakes

This blade was exactly what I was hoping for. Admittedly, although I own a small woodworking business, I don't spend much time with my small band saw and generally prefer my spiral saws, table saws, or miter saws. For me, the band saw was always too difficult to operate. The blade ran the length of my incisions and that turned out to be a problem. After researching, I found some key points in fine-tuning the various components, including choosing the right blade for the material. This isn't a…
