As a yearbook teacher on a budget, I'm always on the lookout for good, affordable cameras. This one is excellent. It's cheap and takes great photos. The zoom is excellent, even without a tripod, if you hold the camera steady, the 18x zoom works great. Once good action shots are programmed, students can take great action shots. The only complaint about the camera is that it keeps the photo longer than we'd like, especially in burst mode. But for the price it's great. We liked it so much we bought another one.
