This dimmer is excellent. It's amazing the functionality this small, inexpensive item has. I use mine to control the extra lights on my motorcycle. Lighting 2x8 W. With it I can dim the light, switch it on and off. The best thing about the dimmer is that when the power is turned off by turning off the bike or turning off the dimmer with the remote, the dimmer turns off, it remembers the last setting and turns it back on by that setting. The remote is nice and light, so I placed it on the inside of the handguard for easy access. He has many vibrant and flashing temperaments. The first two are ideal for modulating motorcycle lights. The first is a pulsing dimmer. ideal for low light just after sunset and before nightfall. The second is brighter pulsing but without "flickering behavior", perfect for modulating motorcycle lights in bright sunlight. Great little gadget. I've only had it running for about a week so far, but have also tested it on a bank of 6 motorcycle LED lights per night. No problems and no heat comes out of the device.
