Review on ISO-ARMOR-2 Microphone Isolation Chamber by Auray: Optimize Your Recording Setup by Bill Escobar

First of all I bought this for a different reason than most. I have a fairly large recording booth, it's finished but has a very large glass window leading into the control room. It also has parquet floors. That's how I found I got a real square sound when tracking, especially with the U87. So I added that and WOW. Problem solved. My singing sounds a lot more open now and my artist doesn't sound like he's in a box anymore. Now I'll say this: if they move away from the microphone, it will be very difficult to hear them. Whatever it's supposed to be, that's what it's designed for. Build quality seems excellent, not to mention how professional and exotic it looks. I'll try to add a photo at some point.
