The nut broke off. Low reliability

I had to buy a second one. I hit a pothole driving through the Midwest and the shock nut came loose leaving me with a dead bump on the left front. I was reluctant to order a replacement, but there should have been stronger threading and a better and/or larger nut. Really disappointing. How can I use this offroad app?
