The title says it all. Bought assuming the 40Gbps cable was said to be capable of driving 2 4K monitors I could use it between my power supply and a CalDigit TB3 plus docking station. One monitor turns on, the other doesn't; This is the same behavior I get when using a 20Gb/s cable. Use the original CalDigit T3 cable between laptop and docking station and both 4K monitors come to life. It's slightly longer than the original cable and I wanted that length, but (ironically) it doesn't "fit" my needs despite being the perfect length. The cable has good build quality; Its diameter is slightly thicker than the CalDigit cable and it fits well in the ports I plugged it into. It probably works great as a USB C cable, but at least for me it's not worth the price.
