Lots of clear and accurate sound for the money

I replaced Yamaha's entry-level front surround in-wall speakers with a Polk S10 and greatly improved the sound of my system. Sound output at any audio frequency from low to high. I got the smallest series Polks brand so I could replace the front ceiling speakers with them. I've added these Polks to my system: I have a pair of refurbished Cizek stereo speakers with 8" Pioneer portable woofers and Visonic dome tweeters, which are the least equal in tone and performance to the original Peerless tweeters. My bass is well powered by a homebuilt Kicker 10" X2 subwoofer on a 150W Onkyo X2 stereo amp. But then I had barely adequate sound from 6 other speakers including 4 entry level Yamaha NS SP1800 surround speakers and The 8" Drivers I bought years ago for $100 on sale at Crutchfield are brand new. For this money Advents reproduce mid-bass. Well, but they never had clarity, and the Yamaha surround speakers sound exactly the same, so they do. Consequently, my system sounds brilliant to mediocre depending on where it's placed in the room, after months of fine-tuning the sound in each speaker, I've noticed that but the highs are at maximum and only Cizek on the back (on the front channels because they are 4 ohm impedance and only my front channels support 4 ohm speakers, also the Cizek are not shielded) performs excellently in the top end. len with his investment in this S10. I think they should have better mounting options in the back, like a pair of 1/4" threads in the raised sound reflector in the back, not in the middle. in the back under the reflector.
