This is a reliable product made of quality components. Unfortunately, the praise has to end here. I noticed a pinched wire visible through the lens under one end cap. After removing this plug, I immediately noticed that the front lens has a top and bottom seal, but there was no seal for this plug. In no case does this device withstand moisture. This is a critical build error which other reviews say is a common issue with this product. Usually the manufacturer quickly solves such a problem. Unfortunately, this manufacturer seems to keep releasing products with the same problem. I carefully inserted the crimped wires into the body, made a homemade gasket for the side of the lens, and reassembled the end cap onto the block. I then had to remove the other end cap to add a lens gasket on that side. There is a rubber gasket for the end caps, but this gasket does not cover the front of the lens. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! When delivered, this light bar is not waterproof. I wouldn't even call it waterproof. At the very least, you'll need to use clear silicone to attach the front lens to the body. Aside from this critical design issue, the main body is heavy gauge aluminum extrusions and the end caps are solid castings. I'll update this review with an LED array performance report later.
