This lightweight and well-constructed desktop condenser microphone. I had fun discovering different ways to use all of its features. For example, you have the option of switching from cardioid to bidirectional directional characteristics. This allows you to use this microphone for different scenarios and/or creative purposes. It also features a handy mute button to temporarily pause/mute your recordings. *TIP* - If you are using headphones, you can also use the mute button to mute the microphone during playback. This product does not require batteries and is powered by the device you are using to record. To turn on, simply plug in the USB-C cable and the indicator will turn green. When you use the mute function, it turns red. If you have no power, the display will not respond and/or will be off. The gain and volume controls are large and easy to use, located right on the front of the unit. The microphone also comes with a nice carrying case that contains all the parts. except the stand. It would be nice to see a kickstand, but it's not the end of the world. The one that comes with it is sturdy, with a counterweight on the bottom, and works perfectly.
