These are the ONLY hair ties that won't pull on my daughter's fine hair. It can be hard to tell from pictures on the web, but it's more of a cloth/plush material than most elastics that claim they 'don't touch'. Someone mentioned that they are disposable and stretch, but I disagree. I've had no problem reusing them many times and they still look brand new. I like the variety of colors but they are very bright. If your kids wardrobe tends to be more muted these colors may be difficult to mix and match but for us they are great.
