Review on Revlon Salon Lasting Medium Curling by Melanie Lee

I don't know when it became so difficult to find a decent curling iron, but I find it overwhelming. As with many household appliances, the phrase "they just don't get the way they used to" seems to apply to curling irons. After reviewing several other irons with odd dials that often moved unintentionally during product use, or design flaws that prevented the iron from sitting properly on the counter (versus having the hot part leaning against it), I found finally one that seemed too much like the hard irons of yesteryear. While I don't like the pink color and am amazed that even the little temperature dial changes randomly while using the flat iron, I'm a lot happier with this curling iron than my last three combined. It's easy in every way. The red light flashes when the iron is heating up and stays on when ready, the on/off switch is a slider rather than a push button, the underside of the heel allows the iron to rest lightly on the counter and level too open and close the iron in the right place and large enough so that the hair does not get caught. Now I just hope it lasts now! Thanks Revlon 🙂
