Review on Vision 670 0040000230 DS1 Drink System by Grant Galloway

Sorry. I had to write a short review hoping that no one would accept my decision and buy this product. I won't lie I should have ridden it more before using it for Ironman Chattanooga but Revain screwed up the 2 day delivery so I only got to ride it once before the race. I bought this hydration system because it is splash proof and I was tired of my previous hydration system. Let me just tell you that was the least of my worries. I fill it up in the morning before a race and it starts to drip. I couldn't tell if it was a leak from the top of the bottle or what. As soon as I got on my bike I tried drinking through a straw and it was a total failure. It was like drinking through a straw. abominable. The reason I bought the bottle was for the splash guard. Now I know why this is a good splash guard as it has everything it takes to get into any liquid opening. I could get maybe 10 ounces before it just started pouring. Additionally, the bottle almost fell out of my cage while going down a hill at about 35 mph. I managed to grab it at the last second. He finally got out of the cage at mile 95 of the Ironman while I was going at about 25 mph. All in all, I cannot recommend this item. This is bad. I would have sent it back but I threw it in the trash about 100 miles from the Ironman.
