These plates were perfect for our casual outdoor wedding! Lightweight yet durable, they're perfect for dinner and dessert. We have spoiled our guests with steak, salad, pasta salad, potato salad and fries, all of which easily fit on large plates. Smaller plates work well for wedding cupcakes, cakes, sliced fruits and vegetables. We provided real steak knives so the plates were scratched after use but due to the low cost I had no qualms about throwing them away after use. I only have three very minor complaints. A few small dessert plates were warped. A small plate had a star-shaped crack right down the middle and had to be thrown away. And finally, there is a small circle with a raised rim (maybe 1/4" wide) off-center on the eating surface of all the plates that I believe is left over from the molding process. This is a cosmetic imperfection that I believe no one noticed. But as I said, these issues are minor and none of them will make me hesitate to buy these records again. Even my new husband was impressed and he usually doesn't. I don't pay attention to things like "throw away". " plate, so I was totally won over by his approval. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!
