I decided to take a chance based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. Pens that go through the ear are solid, not flimsy. They close very securely. All the stones are well chosen and look real. (I ordered a transparent "diamond" model with a silver frame). The earrings are comfortable, I don't feel them when I press the side of my head. They are snug but roomy enough not to put pressure on the earlobes. Size description is accurate. Silver looks good. I'll see how long these last. For the price they are awesome. I'm ordering another pair in a different color today!
